Act 1 Scene 1

Act 1 Scene 1

I’m not really a procrastinator per se. I only procrastinate on things I don’t want to do. But when I’m passionate about something, oh Lawd, you need to see my boosters all fired up.
My major shortcoming however, is that I over think everything. I will think and rethink, consider and reconsider every angle, then move on to researching every detail about the project. After researching I follow up with troubleshooting and nitpicking. Yeah, I am a perfectionist (I wonder what gave that away. *insert eyeroll*) And before I know it, one year is gone, or in the case of this blog – 3years! Procrastination actually is better than what I do.
I’ve had this blog designed and redesigned four times! This is the fifth design. Apologies to my poor husband. He should be used to me by now.

Should I tell you how many times I’ve changed the categories in the tabs? You really don’t want to know. I changed my mind a gazillion times on what I want to write about. I want to be posting regularly but I also didn’t want to limit myself to just one thing.
Just when I had decided to just give it up and not be a blogger, which would have been really sad for me because I actually love blogging (I had 3 blogs before marriage – story for another day) light flashed on my  predicament through a friend.

Bee, you don’t know it, but remember on our trip to Ibadan when you talked about blogging and how Facebook is easier for you because you can just think of something, type and post it immediately – The End! Very easy. That was when a flashbulb went off in my head. Why do I have to write about any particular topic? Why not just write whatever I want, whenever I want? I’m not blogging for any particular reason. I blog because I love writing and if people want to read my ramblings, far be it from me not to oblige them.
So here I am. 3 years after. 5 designs later. LagosHouseWife goes live.

Bee, hope you are listening? Make your blog your own personal ‘nonfacebook-Facebook-space’ and  get on board. Those islands are waiting for us to buy them o.
And to all who managed to read up to this point – You are the real MVP! Mucho Gracias!
Lets do this again tomorrow. Or the day after. Or next week. I will sha continue posting sha. It’s a promise.
